Happy Groundhog Day

I'm a day late, but I had to work yesterday, so lay off. Anyway, yesterday was Groundhog Day, and Phil didn't see his shadow. Supposedly, it will be an early spring. Actually, spring might just come early like it did last year, since we're in a severe drought.

In honor of the holiday, AMC was playing the movie Groundhog Day all day. Of course I had to watch it. It's got Bill Murray in it for goodness' sake! Not to mention, it's a pretty hilarious movie. I love how he spends all his time taking up hobbies and cultivating his skills. He gets so good at playing the piano, he learns how to carve ice, it's awesome. He even punches Ned Ryerson in the face!

But I digress. It got me to thinking, and I'd like to ask you something. If you were in a situation where you had unlimited time, no consequences, and you didn't age, how would you spend your time? What would you do?

I would probably go the route that Phil did, and start taking up hobbies or working on my current ones. God knows I have about a million things I'd love to learn or improve upon. I'd work on my knitting, I'd learn how to sew and crochet as well. I would most definitely learn how to twirl a baton. I'd learn how to play the piano. Just think of how many books you could read!!! More than likely, I'd start taking dance classes for ballet and tap. Maybe I'd even work on my marksmanship, and there's always a little time for fishing.

So, how would you pass the days? Do something constructive or rob a bank? Or both, considering there are no consequences.

And remember folks, don't drive angry!
